3.2. Centralised configuration
Some of the settings for eDocs Scan Client are managed centrally on the eDocs server. These settings include the the
list of nodes the Scan Client user has access to as well as the names and configuration of the indexes for each node.
When the Scan Client is logged into for the first time, these settings are downloaded from the eDocs server
automatically. If the central settings on the server change, the new settings need to be re-downloaded to the Scan Client.
This can be done by selecting the Download settings option from the Settings
menu in the eDocs Scan Client as shown below:
